A beautiful pattern 1897 Infantry/Royal Engineers sword by Wilkinson

This example is a Wilkinson Best blade and is unusually un etched. It comes complete with its steel and leather scabbards as well as its buff cover and leather sword bag.

This sword belonged to Temp Lieutenant Clive Edward Effingham Pargeter.(Royal Engineers) Who was awarded the Military Cross Medal in 1917 for his actions at the battle of the Somme.
