Bennie Laubscher began making gun and rifle stocks as a hobby in the late 1980s, turning his attentions to riflemaking in 1995. As his reputation grew not only in his native South Africa but worldwide, so his company grew becoming B. Laubscher & Associates. He was joined by Johan Morkel and Danie Crouse, both gun and rifle makers, and Armin Winkler, an engraver. Today this flourishing company specialise in finest quality bolt-magazine rifles.
